Significantly Reducing Cooper & Turner EV Installation
Cooper & Turner

Challenge
Cooper & Turner, a prominent logistics company, sought to electrify their fleet while facing significant infrastructure challenges. A key concern was the substantial cable run required for charger installation across their site, posing a considerable cost hurdle. Additionally, they needed a sophisticated charging system that could cater to diverse user groups – staff, visitors, and directors – with different access permissions and tariff structures, all while maximizing efficiency and minimizing initial capital outlay.
Solution
Swift Charging delivered an innovative and cost-effective EV solution for Cooper & Turner. We installed five high-performance Nexblue chargers, ingeniously daisy-chaining them to significantly reduce cable trenching and associated infrastructure costs. Furthermore, Swift Charging successfully secured £4,250 in government grant funding to offset their initial investment. Our management software was configured to facilitate multiple driver groups – staff, visitors, and directors – enabling exclusive access and custom tariffs for each, providing unparalleled flexibility and control.
Results
The strategic implementation by Swift Charging resulted in substantial savings for Cooper & Turner, both through reduced cabling expenses and the significant government grant. Their logistics operations now benefit from a highly efficient and intelligently managed EV charging network, perfectly tailored to diverse user needs. The ability to set exclusive tariffs provides precise cost control and potential revenue generation. Testament to their satisfaction, Cooper & Turner has since referred Swift Charging to their other sites and is actively planning further expansion, solidifying a strong, ongoing partnership.
