As part of a major site renovation project, Werit UK Ltd, a manufacturer known for its forward-thinking approach to innovation and sustainability, recognised the need to integrate EV charging infrastructure at its Manchester facility.
With company directors, staff, and fleet vehicles increasingly adopting electric vehicles, the business required a reliable and future-proof charging solution that complemented the modernisation of its premises.
The challenge was to design a system that not only provided accessible charging for all users but also aligned with Werit’s ongoing sustainability and efficiency goals — all while taking advantage of available government grant funding.
Solution
Swift Charging was selected to deliver a complete turnkey EV charging solution, managing the entire process from start to finish.
The project included the installation of five NexBlue 22kW AC chargers, positioned on durable post-mounted installations to ensure accessibility for directors, employees, and fleet vehicles.

To maximise cost efficiency, Swift Charging also assisted Werit in securing OZEV Workplace Charging Scheme funding, helping to offset installation costs while delivering a high-quality and compliant setup.
The system was fully integrated into Swift’s smart back-office management platform, enabling Werit to:

Control access and tariffs for different user groups
Generate detailed energy and usage reports for internal review
